How to Control Low Voltage With X10

The X10 lighting control system uses the electrical wiring in a building to send signals to turn lights on and off. To control the low voltage that powers a table light or floor lamp, attach the X10 module so it can communicate with the X10 control panel. A household tool is all that you will need.
