How to Remove the Top Sprayer Arm on a GE Dishwasher

The top sprayer arm on your General Electric dishwasher is located on the bottom of the top dish rack. The sprayer ensures that the dishes on the top rack receive an equal amount of water and soap. After regular use, it may become necessary to remove the upper spray arm, for cleaning or for replacement if it is broken. The spray arm secures to the underside of the dish rack using a single bolt, and removes quickly from the appliance.
