Unplug the Breckwell pellet stove from the wall outlet. The stove uses electricity to power the blower motors inside the unit.
Remove the screws from the panel on the right side of the stove. Pull the panel off the stove to expose the combustion blower.
Vacuum any accumulated ashes and dust from around the combustion blower. Use a soft bristle brush to brush the exterior of the blower.
Loosen the six screws on the face of the combustion blower. Twist the blower counterclockwise to release it from the blower housing. Carefully remove the blower from the housing. Set the blower on the floor of the stove.
Vacuum the inside of the blower housing. Carefully brush the blades of the blower with a soft-bristle brush to avoid damaging the blades of the blower. Vacuum the blades to remove any ash and dust.
Remove the screws from the blower housing that you loosened previously. Remove the white gasket from the blower housing beneath the screws. The gasket sits along the outside edge of the opening in the blower housing. It forms a seal between the blower motor.
Install a new blower gasket onto the blower housing, lining up the screw holes in the gasket with the screw holes in the housing. Replace the screws, but don’t tighten them.
Insert the combustion blower into the blower housing and onto the screws. Twist the blower clockwise and then tighten the screws.
Replace the panel on the side of the Breckwell pellet stove. Plug the stove back into the wall outlet.
