Instructions

    • 1

Open the window that you wish to install the air conditioner in. Attach the support platform piece to the support angle by inserting two provided 7/16-inch screws and lightly tightening them with the washers and nuts. Place the platform against the window track and attach it to the sill using three provided self-tapping screws and the power drill.

    • 2

Pull the support angle outside of the window and secure it against the wall. Tighten the nuts on the 7/16-inch screws attaching it to the support platform fully. Adjust the leveling bolt on the angle and use the level to make sure it is evenly placed.

    • 3

Use the scissors or knife to cut two pieces of adhesive foam seal to the exact height of the window's opening. Pull off the backing and press the adhesive foam seal down onto the inside edges of the frame. Once this is in place, set the air conditioner onto the support platform.

Use the power drill to make two 1/8-inch-diameter holes through the window frame that line up with the holes in the unit. Insert two provided 3/8-inch screws through the holes to secure the unit to the frame. The air conditioner should be secured to the frame and the support platform. Slide the window closed until it is firmly against the top of the air conditioner. Apply another strip of adhesive to bottom edge of the window.

Attach the clips on top and bottom edges of the window to lock it in place. Cut two pieces of plastic foam seal and insert them outside of the window sash. Place the retainer on the top edge of the filler panel and move the sliders up to make sure the panel lines up with the sliders. Drill a 1/8-inch-diameter hole through the window frame lining up with the holes in the slider. Insert the provided 3/8-inch screws into the holes.
