Operating Instructions for a Sundowner Awning

The Sundown retractable awning allows you to extend your awning on a hot, sunny day or retract it on a clear, starry night. The Sundown awning comes with a manual crank handle and is available motorized. Regardless of which option you have selected, your Sundown awning takes only a few minutes to open or close and will provide you with the ideal amount of shade.

     Locate the "Operating Handle" for your Sundown awning. The operating handle will be located on the left or right side of your awning, closest to the awning's gearbox.

     Turn the "Operating Handle" clockwise to extend your Sundown awning. You do not need to extend the awning completely if you do not want to cover the entire patio; you can open it as far as you would like.

     Turn the "Operating Handle" counterclockwise to retract your Sundown awning.
