1. Find a suitable location for the TV mount.
The best place to mount your TV is on a wall that is at least as wide as the TV itself. The mount should also be high enough so that the center of the TV is at eye level when you are seated.
2. Use a stud finder to locate the wall studs.
Wall studs are vertical supports that run from the floor to the ceiling. You will need to mount the TV bracket to at least two studs.
3. Mark the locations of the studs.
Use a pencil to mark the locations of the studs on the wall.
4. Drill pilot holes for the wall anchors.
If the wall is made of drywall, you will need to use wall anchors to secure the TV mount. Drill pilot holes for the wall anchors at the locations of the studs.
5. Insert the wall anchors.
Insert the wall anchors into the pilot holes.
6. Screw the TV bracket to the wall.
Use the screws that came with the TV bracket to screw the bracket to the wall anchors.
7. Attach the TV to the mount.
Follow the instructions that came with the TV mount to attach the TV to the mount.
8. Level the TV.
Use a level to make sure that the TV is level.
9. Tighten the screws.
Tighten the screws that secure the TV to the mount.
10. Enjoy your new TV!
You have now successfully installed a 65-inch TV wall mount.
