Ceramic tile offers a solid, durable foundation as a floor covering. However, the surface is tempered, or heated, making it glass-like and slick. This causes large furniture, such as your couch, to slide. With a few dollars and a visit to your local hardware store, you can get the materials to prevent your couch from sliding.
