Ingredients:
* Ground coffee or coffee beans
* Water
* Ice
* Milk (optional)
* Sweetener (optional)
Instructions:
1. Brew the coffee: Start by brewing your coffee using your preferred method. If you are using a drip coffee maker, simply add the ground coffee to the filter basket and fill the water reservoir with cold water. Brew the coffee according to the manufacturer's instructions. If you are using a French press, add the ground coffee to the bottom of the press and pour in the hot water. Let the coffee steep for 4-5 minutes, then press down on the plunger to separate the grounds from the liquid.
2. Cool the coffee: Once the coffee has brewed, quickly cool it down by placing the carafe or French press in a bowl of ice water or setting it in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes. You can also pour the hot coffee over ice if you prefer.
3. Add ice to a glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes.
4. Pour the coffee over the ice: Slowly pour the coffee into the glass over the ice. You can make a single serving of iced coffee or fill a carafe or pitcher to have on hand.
5. Add milk and sweetener (optional): If desired, add milk and sweetener to your iced coffee. You can use regular milk, chocolate milk, or creamer. For sweetener, you can use sugar, honey, or a sugar substitute. Stir to combine.
Enjoy your homemade iced coffee!
