How to Clean the Eyes on an Electric Stove

The stove is subject to more wear and tear than any other kitchen appliance. Even the most skilled cooks occasionally experience pots that boil over and foods that spill or drip from utensils and lids. These accidents leave debris on the "eyes" of the stove, or burners. If you have an electric stove, you need to periodically clean the eyes so you don't have smoke and foul odors from residue when you use the burners.
