1. Gather your materials- transfer paper, picture, wood surface, iron, scissors, pencil, and a hard, flat surface.
2. Prepare the wood surface by sanding- Sand the surface of the wood until it is smooth.
3. Select your image and print it onto the transfer paper- Resize your image to fit the wood surface. Print your image onto the transfer paper using an inkjet printer. Make sure to print in reverse so that the image is mirrored when transferred to the wood.
4. Cut out the image- Cut around the image, leaving a small border.
5. Position the image onto the wood surface- Place the image face down onto the wood. Use a pencil to mark the outline of the image on the wood.
6. Apply the transfer paper- Place the transfer paper onto the wood surface, with the image facing up. Make sure that the transfer paper is centered over the pencil outline.
7. Cover the transfer paper with a piece of parchment paper- Place a sheet of parchment paper over the transfer paper. Make sure that the parchment paper is larger than the transfer paper.
8. Iron the transfer paper- Heat your iron to the highest setting. Place the hot iron on top of the parchment paper and iron the image onto the wood surface. Apply constant pressure for about 30 seconds.
9. Peel off the transfer paper- Allow the image to cool completely. Once the image has cooled, carefully peel off the transfer paper.
10. Seal the image- Apply a clear sealant to the transferred image to protect it.

2. Prepare the wood surface by sanding.
3. Print your image onto clear sticker paper.
4. Cut out the image.
5. Stick the image onto the wood.
6. Apply a sealant.
