- Flat head screwdriver
- Philips head screwdriver
- Socket wrench with a 1/4-inch socket
1. Locate the choke knob. The choke knob is typically located on the side of the snowblower, near the top of the engine. It is a small, black knob with a small, metal rod attached to it.
2. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the choke knob off of the rod. Carefully insert the screwdriver between the knob and the rod, and pry the knob upward. Be careful not to damage the knob or the rod.
3. Remove the Phillips head screws that hold the choke assembly in place. There are typically two screws that hold the choke assembly in place. Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove these screws.
4. Pull the choke assembly out of the snowblower. Once the screws are removed, you should be able to pull the choke assembly out of the snowblower.
5. Remove the choke knob from the choke assembly. There is a small, C-shaped clip that holds the choke knob in place. Use a socket wrench with a 1/4-inch socket to remove this clip. Once the clip is removed, you can pull the choke knob off of the choke assembly.
Here are some additional tips for removing a Tecumseh snowblower choke knob:

- If the choke knob is stuck, you can try using a penetrating oil to loosen it up.
- If you are still unable to remove the choke knob, you may need to take the snowblower to a repair shop.
