How to Decoupage a Poster Canvas

Materials:

- Poster

- Canvas

- Mod Podge

- Foam brush

- Scissors

- Pencil

- Ruler

Instructions:

1. Prepare your canvas. Cut the canvas to the same size as your poster. If the canvas is not already stretched, you will need to stretch it before you can begin decoupaging.

2. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the canvas. Use a foam brush to spread the Mod Podge evenly over the entire surface of the canvas. Allow the Mod Podge to dry completely.

3. Position the poster on the canvas. Center the poster on the canvas and use a pencil and ruler to mark the outline of the poster.

4. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the back of the poster. Use a foam brush to spread the Mod Podge evenly over the entire surface of the back of the poster.

5. Adhere the poster to the canvas. Carefully place the poster on the canvas, aligning it with the marks you made in Step 3. Press down on the poster to ensure that it is securely adhered to the canvas.

6. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the front of the poster. Use a foam brush to spread the Mod Podge evenly over the entire surface of the front of the poster. This will help to seal the poster and protect it from damage.

7. Allow the Mod Podge to dry completely. Allow the Mod Podge to dry completely before moving or displaying your decoupaged poster canvas.

Tips:

- To prevent the poster from bubbling or wrinkling, make sure that the Mod Podge is completely dry before adhering the poster to the canvas.

- If you want a more glossy finish, you can apply a coat of clear acrylic spray over the top of the Mod Podge.
