Fisher Regulator Specs

Fisher Regulators is a brand of Emerson Process Management, which is a subsidiary of the Emerson company. The company started in 1890 in St. Louis Missouri, and it distributes its products worldwide. Fisher Regulators allow you to control the flow and/or pressure of materials, especially gas and liquids. These products are for industrial use, industry professionals and consumer applications, and you can purchase them from a local sales office.
  1. LP

    • Fisher offers liquefied petroleum gas (LP) or propane regulators, and these regulators are for burners, furnaces, industrial applications, farms and home appliances. These regulators help you control the downstream demand of pressure (pressure reducing regulator), and they also control upstream pressure by changing the overall flow (relief regulator). For example, the R622E 2 pound per-square-inch (PSI) service regulator is a pressure-reducing regulator. It reduces the amount of inlet pressure in a downstream application, only allowing a maximum of 10 pounds of force per square inch gauge (psig) on a non-emergency basis. It allows up to 15 psig if an emergency occurs. The manifold is made of corrugated stainless steel tubing, and the body is a half-inch in size. It weighs 1.4 pounds. It operates in temperatures between -20 degrees Fahrenheit and 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Specialty/Process

    • The specialty and process regulators control gases used in industrial or chemical processes. It offers two types of regulators: pressure reducing and relief. An example of the relief/backpressure regulator is the SR8 Sanitary Backpressure Regulator, which is for the food, biotech and pharmaceutical industries. The body size for this regulator ranges from one half-inch to 3 inches, and it operates in temperatures between -20 degrees Fahrenheit and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a pressure range between two and 125 psig, and allows a maximum of 210 psig of inlet pressure. The maximum outlet pressure ranges from two to 125 psig. It weighs between nine and 60 pounds.

    Natural Gas

    • The Fisher natural gas regulators help control pressure of natural gas in industrial, commercial and consumer environments. An example of pressure-reducing natural gas regulators is the EXR series, and you can use this series for both high and low outlet pressure. The body of the regulator is made of cast iron, and the main valve is made of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) stainless steel. It allows a maximum of 1050 psig of inlet pressure and up to 1000 psig of outlet pressure. It has an emergency psig of 1050 psig. It weighs between 50 and 225 pounds, and it operates in temperatures between -20 degrees Fahrenheit and 260 degrees Fahrenheit.
