The door handle on your GE Spacemaker is, clearly, an important part of the microwave. Without a working door handle, the microwave will not be able to open or shut properly. If you are having problems with your GE Spacemaker's door handle, you can replace it with a new one. You don't have to send your microwave out for servicing. You can do it yourself with little hassle.
