How to Remove a Vent Cover From a Kenmore Microwave

The ventilation system on a Kenmore microwave includes a filter located behind the vent cover. If air is not coming out of the vent when you are microwaving food, then you may need to replace the charcoal filter. You can remove the vent cover to replace the filter, but you can also inspect the vent cover at any time, once it's removed, to make sure the vent cover part doesn't need to be replaced.
