- A PVC pipe with a female threaded adapter
- A hose bib or spigot
- A hose
- A hose clamp
- Teflon tape
1. Wrap the threads of the female threaded adapter with Teflon tape. This will help to create a water-tight seal.
2. Screw the hose bib or spigot into the female threaded adapter. Tighten the hose bib or spigot until it is snug.
3. Attach the hose to the hose bib or spigot. Push the hose onto the hose bib or spigot until it is fully seated.
4. Secure the hose to the hose bib or spigot with a hose clamp. Tighten the hose clamp until it is snug.
- Make sure that the PVC pipe is the correct size for the hose bib or spigot.
- Use Teflon tape to create a water-tight seal between the PVC pipe and the hose bib or spigot.
- Tighten the hose clamp until it is snug to prevent the hose from slipping off the hose bib or spigot.
- Test the connection by turning on the water and checking for leaks.
