Can You Cut Wet Grass With an Electric Mower?

It is generally not recommended to use an electric mower to cut wet grass.

Electric mowers should not be used in any wet conditions, including when the grass is wet. Mowing wet grass can damage the motor, as water can get into the motor and cause it to short out. Additionally, wet grass clippings are heavier and can easily clog the mower's discharge chute, causing it to overheat. If you must mow wet grass, it is best to use a push mower or a riding mower, which are less likely to be damaged by water.
