How to Build a Garden Planter Box

- 2x4 lumber

- 1x4 lumber

- Wood screws

- Drill

- Sander

- Stain or paint (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cut the 2x4 lumber to the following lengths:

- 4 pieces at 24 inches long

- 2 pieces at 16 inches long

2. Cut the 1x4 lumber to the following lengths:

- 4 pieces at 24 inches long

- 2 pieces at 16 inches long

3. Assemble the planter box by attaching the 2x4 lumber to the 1x4 lumber with wood screws. The 2x4 lumber should form the corners of the planter box, and the 1x4 lumber should form the sides.

4. Sand the planter box to smooth out any rough edges.

5. Stain or paint the planter box (optional).

6. Fill the planter box with soil and plants.

Tips:

- To make the planter box more durable, use treated lumber.

- You can add a liner to the planter box to help retain moisture.

- Place the planter box in a location that receives plenty of sunlight.

- Water the plants in the planter box regularly.
