How to Broil Chicken Leg Quarters

Broiling chicken leg quarters is a simple and flavorful way to cook them. Here are the steps on how to broil chicken leg quarters:

Ingredients:

- 4-6 chicken leg quarters, skin on

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven's broiler.

2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken leg quarters, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the chicken pieces evenly.

3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the chicken leg quarters on top. Make sure the skin side of the chicken is facing up.

4. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and broil for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken skin is golden brown and the meat is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).

5. Squeeze lemon juice over the broiled chicken leg quarters and serve immediately.

Tips:

- To ensure even cooking, place the baking sheet about 6 inches from the broiler element.
