Clean out small cracks within the cement with a stiff wire brush. Insert a tube of cement patching compound into a standard caulking gun, and squeeze the compound into the crack.
Level and smooth the patching compound even with the surrounding cement with a damp cloth. Allow the compound to dry according to the specified amount of time stated on the tube directions.
Spread a cement degreaser cleaner onto the cement driveway according to the included directions. Allow the degreaser time to penetrate the cement for the recommended amount of time directed on the package.
Wash the surface of the cement driveway free from degreaser with a power washer, keeping the spray nozzle at least 12 inches away from the cement.
Allow the cement driveway to thoroughly dry overnight, up to 48 hours depending on outdoor weather conditions.
Mix the contents of the cement sealer with a wooden paint stirrer, and pour the cement sealer into a plastic paint tray equipped with a disposable liner.
Insert a medium-nap paint roller onto a long-handled paint pole. Dip the paint roller into the sealer. Roll the cement sealer onto the cement driveway, working from the end out toward the street. Use smooth, even strokes when applying the cement sealer to the driveway. Coat every square inch of the cement driveway so that every section of the driveway gets a protective coating of sealer.
Allow the first coating of cement sealer to dry overnight before applying a second coat in the same fashion as you rolled the first. Allow the second coat of sealer time to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions before allowing vehicles back onto the surface.
