1. Gather your materials. You will need:
- Tulle in your desired color
- Scissors
- Sewing needle and thread
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Paper
2. Prepare your tulle. Cut the tulle into rectangles. The size of the rectangles will depend on the size of the bows you want to make. For small bows, cut rectangles that are about 6 inches wide by 12 inches long. For larger bows, cut rectangles that are about 9 inches wide by 18 inches long.
3. Fold the tulle rectangles. Take one rectangle of tulle and fold it in half lengthwise. Then, fold it in half again lengthwise.
4. Draw a bow shape on paper. On a piece of paper, draw a bow shape. The shape should be about 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall.
5. Cut out the bow shape. Cut out the bow shape along the lines you drew.
6. Place the bow shape on the folded tulle. Place the bow shape on top of the folded tulle. Center the bow shape so that there is equal amounts of tulle on either side.
7. Pin the bow shape in place. Pin the bow shape in place through all layers of the tulle.
8. Sew the bow shape in place. Use a sewing needle and thread to sew the bow shape in place. Stitch around the entire perimeter of the bow shape, making sure to catch all layers of the tulle.
9. Remove the pins. Once the bow shape is sewn in place, carefully remove the pins.
10. Gather the center of the bow. Gather the center of the bow by pulling on the thread that you used to sew the bow shape in place.
11. Tie a knot in the thread. Tie a knot in the thread to secure the bow in place.
12. Trim the excess tulle. Trim the excess tulle around the edges of the bow.
13. Repeat steps 3-12 to make as many bows as you need.
14. Use your tulle bows to decorate your wedding! You can use them to decorate the chairs, pews, altar, and more.
