How to Make a Tulle Highchair Skirt

### Materials

* Tulle (about 10 yards)

* Ribbon (about 1 yard)

* Scissors

* Measuring tape

* Pins

* Sewing machine

Instructions

1. Cut the tulle into strips. Each strip should be about 10 inches wide and 36 inches long.

2. Fold each strip of tulle in half lengthwise and press.

3. Gather the folded edge of each strip of tulle. You can do this by hand or by using a gathering foot on your sewing machine.

4. Sew the gathered edge of each strip of tulle to the ribbon, spacing the strips about 1 inch apart.

5. Trim the ends of the ribbon and tie it into a bow.

6. Place the tulle highchair skirt on the highchair and adjust it so that it is evenly distributed around the chair.

Tips

* To make a fuller skirt, use more strips of tulle.

* To make a shorter skirt, cut the strips of tulle shorter.

* You can also use different colors of tulle to create a custom look.

* If you don't have a sewing machine, you can also hand-sew the tulle strips to the ribbon.

* Tulle highchair skirts are a fun and easy way to add a touch of whimsy to your child's birthday party or other special occasion.
