- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450° Fahrenheit (230° Celsius).
2. In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice-sized crumbs.
3. Transfer the cauliflower rice to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 3 minutes, or until tender. Let it cool slightly.
4. Once the cauliflower is cool enough to handle, squeeze out any excess water using a paper towel or cheesecloth.
5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, beaten egg, and salt and pepper to taste.
6. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined and a cohesive dough forms.
7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
8. Transfer the cauliflower dough to the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a 10-12 inch (25-30 cm) pizza crust.
9. Bake the cauliflower pizza crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until it becomes golden brown and crispy.
10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
11. Add your desired pizza toppings, such as sauce, cheese, vegetables, and meat, and bake according to your preferences.
Enjoy your delicious and healthy cauliflower pizza!
Tips:
- To ensure the cauliflower crust is crispy, make sure to squeeze out as much water as possible.
- Feel free to adjust the seasonings and ingredients to your liking. You can add more cheese, spices, or even some cooked and chopped meat or vegetables to the crust.
- You can also use a combination of cauliflower rice and another vegetable, like zucchini or sweet potato, for a different flavor and texture.
- Store any leftover cauliflower pizza crust in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
