2. Cut off the ends of the pomelo. Cut a thin slice off of the top and bottom of the pomelo.
3. Score the skin of the pomelo. Use a sharp knife to make shallow cuts in the skin of the pomelo, following the natural segments of the fruit. Be careful not to cut too deeply, as you only want to score the skin.
4. Peel the pomelo. Gently peel the skin off of the pomelo, starting at the top and working your way down. The skin should come off easily in large pieces.
5. Separate the segments of the pomelo. Use your hands to gently separate the segments of the pomelo. The segments should come apart easily.
6. Eat the pomelo segments. Enjoy the pomelo segments on their own, or add them to your favorite fruit salad or smoothie.

* If you have trouble peeling the pomelo, you can also use a grapefruit spoon.
