* 6 ears of fresh corn, husked and silked
* 1/4 cup melted butter
* 1 teaspoon kosher salt
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the corn, butter, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
3. Spread the corn in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the corn is tender and lightly browned.
5. Serve immediately.
* To husk corn, pull back the husks and remove the silk. You can also use a corn cobber to remove the husks and silk.
* If you don't have a corn cobber, you can use a knife to remove the silk. Simply hold the corn cob in one hand and use the knife to scrape off the silk.
* You can add other seasonings to the corn, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
* Corn on the cob is a great side dish for BBQs, picnics, and potlucks.
