How to Make String Easter Eggs

### Supplies:

- Balloons (any size or color)

- String (yarn, embroidery floss, etc.)

- White craft glue

- Water

- Paintbrush or sponge

- Glitter (optional)

- Wax paper or parchment paper

Instructions:

1. Prepare your workspace. Cover your table with wax paper or parchment paper to protect it from glue.

2. Inflate the balloons. Blow up the balloons to the desired size. You can make the eggs as large or small as you like. Just keep in mind that the larger the egg, the more string you will need.

3. Dip the string in glue. Mix equal parts white craft glue and water in a bowl. Dip the string into the glue mixture, making sure to coat it thoroughly.

4. Wrap the string around the balloons. Start by wrapping the string around the balloon in a random pattern. Then, continue to wrap the string around the balloon until it is completely covered. Make sure to leave a small opening at the top of the balloon for hanging.

5. Let the glue dry. Set the balloons aside and allow the glue to dry completely. This may take several hours or overnight.

6. Pop the balloons. Once the glue is dry, pop the balloons and remove the deflated balloon pieces from inside the string eggs.

7. Add glitter (optional). If desired, you can add glitter to the string eggs. Simply sprinkle glitter over the eggs and shake off the excess.

8. Hang your string Easter eggs. Thread a piece of string through the hole at the top of each egg and hang them from a tree, mantel, or anywhere else you like.

Tips:

- To make the string eggs more durable, you can seal them with a clear coat spray.

- You can use any type of string or yarn for this project. Just be sure to choose a strong string that won't break easily.

- You can also use different colors of string to create colorful Easter eggs.

- These string Easter eggs make great decorations for Easter parties or egg hunts. They're also a fun and easy way to get kids involved in crafting.
