Instructions

    • 1

Lay paper towels over the orange juice spill on your upholstery. Press down to absorb the moisture into the paper towels, and discard them as they become soiled. Continue to absorb the orange juice until no more transfers from the upholstery to the paper towels.

    • 2

Pour 2 cups of warm water into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon each of dishwashing detergent and white vinegar. Stir the solution with a spoon.

    • 3

Wet a clean sponge with the detergent and vinegar solution. Squeeze out the excess moisture.

    • 4

Sponge the orange juice stain with the soap and vinegar solution until it's moistened. Press a dry cloth into the upholstery to absorb the detergent solution and the orange juice stain. Repeat this step until the stain is completely gone.

    • 5

Dampen another cloth with water. Rinse the upholstery with repeated blotting to remove the detergent and vinegar solution.

    • 6

Aid the drying process by drying your upholstery with clean cloths. Lay a cloth over the upholstery, and press it down to absorb moisture. Let the furniture air-dry the remainder of the way.
