### Materials and Tools

* 1/2 yard of fleece fabric (150 cm)

* 1/4 yard of ribbing (75 cm)

* Matching thread

* Sewing machine

* Scissors

* Tape measure

* Marking pen

* Pins

Instructions

1. Prepare the fleece fabric. Wash, dry, and iron the fleece fabric to remove any wrinkles.

2. Cut out the sock pieces.

- For each sock, you will need to cut out two pieces of fleece fabric and two pieces of ribbing.

- The fleece fabric pieces should be rectangles measuring 10 inches by 15 inches (25 cm by 38 cm).

- The ribbing pieces should be rectangles measuring 3 inches by 10 inches (7.5 cm by 25 cm).

3. Sew the fleece sock pieces together.

- With right sides together, sew the two fleece fabric pieces together along the long edge using a 1/2-inch (1.3 cm) seam allowance.

- Repeat with the ribbing pieces.

4. Sew the fleece and ribbing pieces together.

- With right sides together, sew the fleece sock piece to the ribbing piece, matching the raw edges.

- Stretch the ribbing as you sew to make it fit the fleece fabric.

5. Turn the socks right side out.

- Carefully turn the socks right side out, using a point turner or other blunt object to help push out the corners.

6. Press the socks.

- Press the socks flat, making sure to press the seams open.

7. Topstitch the socks.

- Topstitch around the top of the socks, close to the edge, to secure the seam.

8. Enjoy your new fleece socks!
