Instructions:
Step 1: Sweep or vacuum the floor:
Before cleaning, remove any loose dirt or debris from the floor by sweeping or vacuuming it. This will help to prevent the dirt from spreading and making the cleaning process more difficult.
Step 2: Make the cleaning solution:
In bucket mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of white vinegar. The mixture will fizz, so be careful not to splash yourself.
Step 3: Apply the solution to the floor:
Use a sponge to apply the solution to the floor. Start in one corner and work your way across the room. Be sure to spread the solution evenly and scrub the grout lines.
Step 4: Let the solution sit:
Allow the solution to sit on the floor for at least 15 minutes. This will give the baking soda and vinegar time to break down the dirt and grime.
Step 5: Scrub the floor:
Use a scrubbing brush to scrub the floor. Pay special attention to areas that are heavily soiled.
Step 6: Rinse the floor:
Rinse the floor with warm water. Be sure to rinse all of the cleaning solution off the floor.
Step 7: Mop the floor:
Use a mop to dry the floor.
Step 8: Enjoy your clean tile floor
