How to Clean Severely Tarnished Copper

1. Gather the necessary materials.

- White vinegar

- Salt

- Flour

- Water

- A bowl or bucket

- A soft cloth

- A toothbrush

2. Create a paste.

- In a bowl or bucket, mix together equal parts white vinegar, salt, and flour.

- Add enough water to create a paste that is thick enough to spread but not too runny.

3. Apply the paste to the copper.

- Use a soft cloth to apply the paste to the copper.

- Be sure to cover the entire surface of the copper.

4. Scrub the copper.

- Use a toothbrush to scrub the copper.

- Be sure to scrub all surfaces of the copper, including the nooks and crannies.

5. Rinse the copper.

- Rinse the copper thoroughly with water.

- Be sure to remove all of the paste from the copper.

6. Dry the copper.

- Use a soft cloth to dry the copper.

7. Admire your newly cleaned copper!
