Use a vacuum attachment to vacuum over the black spot. The vacuum attachment will suck up any loose paper or debris from the microfiber.
Dampen a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Dab the cotton ball on an inconspicuous area of the couch, to ensure no damage or discoloration occurs to the microfiber.
Moisten a soft cloth with rubbing alcohol, if no damage occurred to the couch. Hold the cloth on the sticky spot for a couple minutes, to allow the rubbing alcohol to dissolve the adhesive.
Rub the soft cloth gently over the center of the sticky spot, to avoid spreading the stain. Continue rubbing until the black sticky spot is completely removed.
Allow the wet spot to completely dry. Rub the previously spotted area of the couch with an unused toothbrush, to revive the microfiber.
