How to Clean Water Rings on a Microfiber Sofa

Microfiber sofas offer a soft, velvety texture that holds up well to everyday use and many household cleaning products. Water rings can ruin the appearance of your microfiber sofa, but this problem requires little effort to resolve. The proper cleaning method depends on which type of microfiber upholstery your sofa has. Check the care label or owner's manual for a letter symbol. If the letter "S" is present, only solvents should be used to clean your sofa. A "W" signifies water-based cleaners. "SW" means either type of cleaner is safe to use, while an "X" means vacuum only.
