How to Make an Owl With Pinecone & Feathers

- Pinecone

- Felt (in brown and white)

Step 1: Prepare the Pinecone

Start by preparing the pinecone. If it's still closed, you can open it up by placing it in a warm oven for a few minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on it, as it can catch on fire if it's left in too long.

Once the pinecone is open, use scissors to trim off any excess scales. You want the pinecone to be a nice, round shape.

Step 2: Cut Out the Felt Pieces

Next, cut out the felt pieces. You will need the following:

- 2 large brown circles (for the owl's eyes)

- 2 small white circles (for the owl's pupils)

- 1 orange or red triangle (for the owl's beak)

- 2 white wings (optional)
