How to Make a Wood Sliding Cabinet Door Track

### Gather your materials:

- 1x4 pine boards (2)

- Wood screws

- Drill

- Circular saw

- Miter saw

- Sandpaper

- Wood finish

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut the boards to size

- Cut the 1x4 pine boards to the following lengths:

- 2 pieces at 84 inches long

- 2 pieces at 36 inches long

Step 2: Assemble the track

- Place the two 84-inch boards side-by-side, with the 1-inch side facing up.

- Screw the two 36-inch boards to the 84-inch boards, one at each end, to form a rectangle.

- Make sure the screws are countersunk so they don't protrude from the surface of the track.

Step 3: Sand the track

- Sand the track thoroughly to remove any rough edges.

Step 4: Apply a wood finish

- Apply a wood finish to the track to protect it from moisture and wear.

Step 5: Install the track

- Position the track above the cabinet opening, making sure that it is level.

- Screw the track into the wall studs using wood screws.

Step 6: Install the cabinet doors

- Attach the sliding cabinet doors to the track using the provided hardware.
