How to Make a Clay Pot Lighthouse

Materials:

- Clay pot

- White acrylic paint

- Red and black acrylic craft paint

- Paintbrush

- Clear sealer

- Sandpaper

Instructions:

Step 1: Clean the clay pot.

Wipe down the inside and outside of the clay pot with a damp cloth. Allow it to dry completely before painting.

Step 2: Paint the clay pot white.

Apply two coats of white acrylic paint to the inside and outside of the clay pot. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next.

Step 3: Paint the lighthouse.

Use red and black craft paint to paint a lighthouse on the outside of the clay pot. Be creative and have fun with this step! You can paint a simple lighthouse, or you can add more details, such as windows and doors.

Step 4: Add a sealer.

Once you are finished painting the lighthouse, apply a clear sealer to protect the paint. This will help to keep the paint from chipping or peeling.

Step 5: Add sand to the clay pot.

Place some sand in the clay pot to add a beachy touch to your lighthouse.

Step 6: Display your lighthouse.
