How to Hang a Monitor From the Ceiling

Select a ceiling speaker mount that is compatible with your monitor. Many mounts come with a variety of attachments that are compatible with the threaded mounting hole in the monitor.

Select a location for the speaker. The back corners of the room are ideal for hanging ceiling speakers, as this placement ensures that the audio can cover the entire room.

Place a plastic drop cloth under the area where you intend to install the mount. This will catch dust and drywall bits. Move a ladder under the area where you intend to install the mount.

Find the stud in the ceiling where you plan to install the mount, using a stud finder. Mark the location.

Install the screws in the mount, using the drill. You can now attach the speaker to the mount via the threaded mounting hole on the back of the monitor.
