How to Make a Flag Pole Stand

### Tools and materials:

- Concrete

- Water

- Gravel or sand

- 4 wooden posts (4x4 inches, 8 feet long)

- 2 metal brackets

- 1 flag

Instructions:

1. Dig a hole 2 feet wide and 3 feet deep.

2. Pour 6 inches of gravel or sand into the bottom of the hole.

3. Add a 4-inch layer of concrete to the hole.

4. Place the wooden posts in the hole, spacing them evenly apart.

5. Add more concrete around the posts until the hole is filled.

6. Level the concrete and allow it to dry for at least 24 hours.

7. Attach the metal brackets to the wooden posts.

8. Hang the flag from the brackets.

Tips:

- Use a level to make sure that the wooden posts are straight.

- Use a strong adhesive to attach the brackets to the wooden posts.

- Make sure that the flag pole stand is stable before hanging the flag.
