* Pane glass (cut to your desired size)
* Silver nitrate solution
* Distilled water
* Baking soda
* Nitric acid
* A large container
* A stirring spoon

1. Clean the pane glass with soap and water and allow it to dry completely.
2. In a large container, mix together the silver nitrate solution and distilled water according to the directions on the silver nitrate bottle.
3. Add the baking soda and stir until the mixture is clear.
4. Add the nitric acid and stir until the mixture is cloudy.
5. Place the pane glass in the solution and leave it for a few minutes, or until the glass is completely silvered.
6. Remove the glass from the solution and rinse it with distilled water.
7. Allow the glass to dry completely.
Your mirror is now ready to use!
* Be sure to wear gloves when working with the silver nitrate solution, as it can cause skin irritation.
* If you want a thicker mirror, you can dip the glass in the solution multiple times.
* You can also add a frame to your mirror to give it a more finished look.
