A necessary element for a bed, a metal frame supports the box spring and mattress, providing support and stabilizing the bed. Despite their function, these metal frames aren't exactly the most attractive element of a bed. Disguise the metal part of your bed by attaching a wooden frame to it. Your bed will still be supported by the metal frame, but the wooden frame will make it more visually appealing.
