- 1 cup tequila
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup cherry puree (can use fresh or canned cherries)
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (optional)
- 1/2 cup sweetener of choice (such as agave nectar or flavored syrup)
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges and cherries, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Combine the tequila, lime juice, cherry puree, optional orange liqueur, and sweetener in a large pitcher or punch bowl.
2. Stir until well combined.
3. Add ice cubes to fill the pitcher or punch bowl.
4. Garnish with lime wedges and cherries.
5. Serve immediately.
Tips:
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and substitute it with sparkling water or club soda.
- You can use fresh or frozen cherries for the cherry puree. If using frozen cherries, thaw them completely before using.
- If you don't have a blender or food processor, you can mash the cherries with a fork until they become a puree.
- You can substitute the orange liqueur with another type of liqueur of your choice, such as lemon or grapefruit liqueur.
