- 8 1/2" by 11" paper
- Scissors or a paper cutter
- A glue stick or double-sided tape
1. Start with a piece of 8 1/2" by 11" paper.
2. Fold the paper in half lengthwise.
3. Unfold the paper and then fold it in half widthwise.
4. Unfold the paper again and then fold the top two corners down to the center crease.
_Make sure to crease the folds well._
5. Fold the bottom two corners up to the center crease.
6. Fold the left and right edges of the paper into the center crease.
7. Fold the top flap down over the bottom flap.
_Make sure the envelope is completely closed._
8. Secure the envelope by gluing or taping the flaps together.
Your 4-by-6 envelope is now complete!
_To use the envelope, simply insert your 4-by-6 photo into the envelope and seal it._
- Use a bone folder or a credit card to help you crease the folds sharply.
- For a more decorative envelope, you can add embellishments such as stickers, stamps, or ribbon.
- If you want to make a larger or smaller envelope, simply adjust the size of the paper you start with.
