Step 1: Prepare the fabric

Press the fold flat.

Step 2: Sew the side seams

Starting 1 inch from the folded edge, stitch a 1/4-inch seam down the long side of the fabric.

Repeat on the other long side.

Step 3: Turn the fabric right side out

Carefully turn the fabric right side out, using a point turner or other blunt object to help push out the corners.

Press the scarf flat.

Step 4: Attach the swivel hooks

Fold the end of the fabric 1 inch to the wrong side and press flat.

Fold the end under 1 inch again and press flat.

Stitch the folded edge in place.

Repeat with the other end.

Attach the swivel hooks by running them through the back of the loops and screwing the nuts in place.

Step 5: Attach the slide buckle

Cut the webbing to 24 inches long.

Fold the webbing in half and slide the buckle through both loops.

Fold the webbing back on itself and stitch in place.

Repeat on the other side of the buckle.

Step 6: Attach the scarf

Slide the scarf through the buckle.

Step 7: Enjoy your new camera strap!
