* Wax (such as beeswax, soy wax, or paraffin wax)
* Wicks
* Wick holders
* Double boiler
* Spatula
* Skewer
* Mold (such as a glass or ceramic jar, a metal tin, or a silicone mold)
* Newspaper or parchment paper
* Scissors
1. Prepare your mold. If you are using a glass or ceramic jar, make sure it is clean and dry. If you are using a metal tin, you may need to line it with parchment paper to prevent the wax from sticking.
2. Melt the wax. Place the wax in a double boiler over medium heat and stir constantly until it is completely melted.
3. Add the fragrance oil (optional). If you want your candles to have a scent, add a few drops of fragrance oil to the melted wax and stir to combine.
4. Insert the wicks. Cut the wicks to the desired length and insert them into the wick holders. Place the wick holders in the mold, making sure that the wicks are centered.
5. Pour the wax into the mold. Slowly pour the melted wax into the mold, being careful not to spill any.
6. Let the candles cool. Allow the candles to cool for at least 24 hours before removing them from the mold.
7. Trim the wicks. Once the candles are completely cool, trim the wicks to about 1/4 inch long.
8. Enjoy your candles! Your twist candles are now ready to be enjoyed.
* To make twisted candles, simply hold two wicks together and twist them in opposite directions.
* You can also add other embellishments to your candles, such as glitter, dried flowers, or beads.
* Be creative and have fun making your own twist candles!
