Removing the Lower Spray Arm From a GE Profile Dishwasher

General Electric dishwashers have two spray arms, one located on the underside of the top rack, and one on the bottom of the wash tub. The spray arms serve an important function, as they ensure the even distribution of water and soap to the dishes in the dishwasher. As part of the ongoing maintenance of the dishwasher, you should occasionally remove and clean both the top and lower spray arms to avoid blockages.
