How to Mount a Flat Screen TV in an Existing Entertainment Center

Tools Needed:

- Screwdriver

- Drill with drill bits

- Level

- TV mounting bracket (make sure it's compatible with your TV)

- Screws (included with the TV mounting bracket)

- Wall anchors (needed for drywall installation)

- Stud finder

Instructions:

Step 1: Find the studs

Use the stud finder to find the studs in the wall where you want to mount the TV. Mark the locations of the studs with a pencil.

Step 2: Attach the TV mounting bracket to the studs

Align the TV mounting bracket with the marks you made in Step 1. Drill pilot holes through the bracket into the studs. Then, insert the screws into the pilot holes and tighten them until the bracket is securely attached to the studs.

Step 3: Attach the TV to the mounting bracket

Line up the holes on the back of your TV with the slots on the TV mounting bracket. Insert the screws into the holes and tighten them until the TV is securely attached to the bracket.

Step 4: Level the TV

Use the level to make sure that the TV is level. If it's not level, adjust the screws on the TV mounting bracket until it is.

Step 5: Plug in the TV

Connect the TV's power cord to the outlet and plug in any other necessary cables.

Step 6: Turn on the TV

Turn on the TV and check to make sure that it is working properly.

Step 7: Enjoy your new TV

Sit back and enjoy your TV in its new location!
