How to Make a Homemade Car Air Freshener

Making a homemade car air freshener is an easy and affordable way to keep your vehicle smelling fresh and pleasant. Here are the steps to create your own essential oil diffuser:

1. Gather your materials:

- Glass or ceramic container with a lid (such as a small jar or repurposed candle holder)

- Small piece of cotton or felt

- Essential oil (your favorite scent)

- String or ribbon (for hanging the diffuser)

2. Prepare the container:

- Clean the glass or ceramic container thoroughly to remove any dirt or residue.

- Let the container dry completely.

3. Add the cotton or felt:

- Cut a small piece of cotton or felt to fit the bottom of the container.

- Place the cotton or felt inside the container.

4. Add the essential oil:

- Add a few drops (5-10) of your chosen essential oil to the cotton or felt.

- You can use a single oil or blend different oils to create a custom scent.

5. Attach the string or ribbon:

- Cut a piece of string or ribbon long enough to hang the diffuser from your rearview mirror.

- Thread the string or ribbon through the hole in the lid of the container.

- Knot the string or ribbon to secure it in place.

6. Hang the diffuser:

- Hang the diffuser from your car's rearview mirror or another desired location.

- Enjoy the refreshing scent as it spreads through your vehicle.

Note:

- When choosing essential oils, consider scents that are calming and refreshing while driving, such as lavender, peppermint, or eucalyptus.

- Experiment with different scents and combinations of essential oils to find the one you enjoy the most.
