McCulloch 1010 Chainsaw Information

The McCulloch Company built and sold the Pro-Mac 10-10 chainsaw from 1977 to 1982. McCulloch, based in Sante Fe Springs, California, builds lawn and garden equipment, as well as low-voltage outdoor lighting and power tools.
  1. Engine

    • The McCulloch Pro-Mac 10-10 has a one-cylinder, 3.3 cubic inch engine (54 cc). It also has a cylinder bore of 1.75 inches, a piston stroke of 1.375 inches and a piston-ported intake. The McCulloch Pro-Mac 10-10 has a flywheel breaker point system, and electronic ignition on all units with the serial prefix "12."

    Parts

    • The one-man saw weighs 15.6 pounds, with a rigid handle, an optional chain brake, a centrifugal clutch and a direct drive. The Pro-Mac 10-10 is aluminum, with a cast iron liner, and the construction is die-cast magnesium.

      The McCulloch Pro-Mac 10-10 is equipped with a Walbro SDC-type carburetor. The major repair kit is part number K10-SDC, and the minor repair kit is D10-SDC.

    Air Filter

    • The air filter system is made from a flocked wire screen, and the starter is a left-side, McCulloch automatic rewind. The chainsaw has an automatic oil pump, with a manual override.
