How to Register an MTD Snow Blower

MTD manufactures outdoor power equipment for yard and home maintenance. Registering a product after your purchase is required to validate the warranty in case you need repairs on your snow blower. MTD has a registration page online to register your product and fill out a questionnaire. The questionnaire gathers information on products you may be interested in purchasing in the near future. If you wish, MTD can email you coupons and special offers as they become available on the products you are interested in and provide you with any recall information pertinent to your new snow blower.

  Navigate to the MTD Products website (see Resources).

  Click on the "Customer Service" tab at the top of the page.

  Type "Product Registration" in the search box and click "Search."

  Click on the first topic below the search box that reads "Where is the Online Product Registration Area?"

  Click on the green area that says "Click here" for the product line of Yard Machines or any other MTD manufactured product.

  Fill out the information on the form. You will need your receipt for the date of purchase and the snow blower's user manual for the model number. Get the serial number off the MTD snow blower and write it in the user manual for quick reference in case you need repairs.

  Check the box at the bottom of the form if you want to receive special offers, coupons, or mailings in your email from MTD.

  Click "Register Product" at the bottom of the form.
