How to Adjust My Rain Bird Irrigation Heads

Step 1: Locate the irrigation heads that need to be adjusted.

This can be done by observing which areas of your lawn are receiving too much or too little water.

Step 2: Gather the necessary tools.

You will need a flat-head screwdriver and a pair of pliers.

Step 3: Turn off the water supply to the irrigation system.

This can be done by locating the main water valve and turning it to the "off" position.

Step 4: Unscrew the cap of the irrigation head.

Use the flat-head screwdriver to loosen the screws that hold the cap in place.

Step 5: Adjust the spray pattern of the irrigation head.

Use the pliers to adjust the nozzle of the irrigation head. You can turn the nozzle clockwise to decrease the spray radius or counterclockwise to increase the spray radius.

Step 6: Replace the cap of the irrigation head.

Tighten the screws that hold the cap in place.

Step 7: Turn on the water supply to the irrigation system.

Check the spray pattern of the irrigation heads to make sure that they are watering the desired areas of your lawn.

Step 8: Repeat steps 3-7 for any other irrigation heads that need to be adjusted.
