How to Make a Fairy or Bird Perch

This is a simple guide on how to make a fairy or bird perch from natural materials. You can use any type of wood, but I used a piece of driftwood.

Materials

- Piece of driftwood or other wood

- Drill

- Sandpaper

- Saw (optional)

- Twine or fishing line

- Drill bit (1/8 inch)

Instructions

1. If your wood is not already smooth, sand it until it is.

2. If your wood is not the desired length, cut it to size. (This is optional)

3. Drill a hole about 1/2 inch deep in the center of the wood.

4. Slide a piece of twine or fishing line through the hole and knot it at the bottom.

5. Hang the perch in your garden or from a tree.

Your fairy or bird perch is now complete. You can add some leaves, flowers, or other decorations to make it more attractive to birds or fairies.
